Meet Bea
Hey there! I’m Bea.
Your New BFF
I am a fiercely independent 29-year-old woman, starting life over after divorce, and severely unimpressed with the quality of life that society has deemed “normal”. Chronic stress, lack of nutrition, overworking, and more time spent working or being sucked into social media than actually living.
So, as I start over again, I am creating the life I want to see more of. That means less trash TV shows and doom scrolling, and more reading, gardening, learning about the “old ways” of life, and officially entering my granny era.
Of Earth and Effort is a letter to you, reader, where I chronicle my journey to living a slower, more intentional life, riddled with the magic and wonder of youth, while I navigate starting new. Here, you will find some tangible and realistic ways to slow life down, some hard truths, but most of all, you will find a soft and gentle place to land. A place to ask questions and learn something new. Here, we aren’t worried about the big questions. We are focused on the moment, on life, on family, on you.
So, welcome. I am so happy you are here, and I can’t wait to meet you.
